This page explains how EBikePH handles rider inquiry, onboarding, payment, evidence, support, and GPS-enabled bike operations data.
What we collect
EBikePH collects rider and inquiry details needed to respond, onboard riders, verify identity, manage payments, release bikes, provide support, and protect company equipment. This may include name, mobile number, email if provided, address, work type, service area, government ID type and last four characters, rider profile screenshots, identity photos, payment references, handover photos, service records, support messages, and incident reports.
Bike operations and GPS
When an EBikePH bike has an active tracker, EBikePH may process bike GPS/location, online or offline status, mileage, route or safe-zone signals, and tracker health. This is used for anti-theft, safety, maintenance, fleet operations, incident review, bike recovery, and proof of bike status. EBikePH does not use private rider location data for public posting or unrelated marketing.
Why we process data
We use rider data for declared operational purposes: inquiry handling, rider due diligence, fraud prevention, payment verification, handover evidence, maintenance, safety checks, support, dispute handling, legal compliance, lawful collection or recovery, enforcement of rider agreements, and service improvement. Marketing messages are optional and should be separate from required operational processing.
Who can access data
Access is limited to EBikePH staff, operators, and service providers with a real operational need. Limited data may be shared with payment services, storage providers, support or messaging providers, repair operators, authorized collection agencies, recovery providers, legal or compliance advisers, attorneys, insurers, courts, barangay or police authorities, and lawful authorities when required or appropriate for unpaid dues, bike recovery, theft, safety, incident, dispute, or legal handling.
Retention and security
EBikePH keeps records only as long as reasonably needed for active rental operations, payment and tax records, evidence, maintenance history, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, and lawful recovery or collection. Private rider evidence and GPS-related records should be protected with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
Your privacy rights
Riders and applicants may ask about access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, or other rights under the Philippines Data Privacy Act and applicable rules. Some requests may be limited by active rentals, payment records, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or recordkeeping requirements.
Collection and recovery providers
If an account, bike, unpaid balance, incident, or dispute is referred to an authorized collection agency, recovery provider, lawyer, insurer, court, barangay, police authority, or other lawful provider, EBikePH should share only the account, contract, payment, handover, bike, GPS/location, incident, and contact information reasonably needed for that authorized purpose.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions, contact EBikePH through the official contact page. EBikePH may update this policy when rider operations, payment tools, GPS tracking, storage, or legal requirements change.
